I barely seem to get one of these written before its time to go again! The weeks are flying by and in fact we were so busy this weekend I barely got a chance to get photos taken of the specials!

Oriental & Wild Mushroom Soup with Garlic Herb Crouton

I’m a sucker for mushroom soups and this was a big hit in that regard. We had every type of mushroom you’d care to mention in here and the depth of flavour was truly reflective of that.

Duck Sausage, Chive Mash & Hoi Sin Sauce

Whats not to like here! Simple tasty and nice rich flavours.

Teriyaki Salmon, Chilli Lime Mayo, Pickled Ginger, Green Cabbage with Potato & Chive Croquettes

Oh my god this salmon smelt absolutely amazing. A customer near the bar was having a portion on Saturday night and the smell of the teriyaki was so unbelievably good I was tempted to just stop what I was doing and go get some! But I’m a professional so I didn’t 🙂

Stir_Fried Prawns in a lightly spiced Cantonese Sauce tossed with linguine.

Sometimes you can’t go wrong with a simple dish that’s easy to understand. This was the most popular dish of the weekend, and its easy to see why. Mixing that classic, fruity Cantonese sauce with a hint of spice made it hard to resist!

Black Sesame Cheesecake

This was an unusual dessert but I really like how it turned out. A biscuit layer, a tofu cheesecake layer, then black sesame cheesecake on top, sprinkled with black sesame meringue and served with pistachio ice-cream. If thats not enough elements for you I don’t know what else we can do!

Thats all for this week folks, looking forwarx to some new and exciting dishes next weekend!
